Job Purpose

We are looking for a colleague to join our ambitious and inspiring Science Department. 

The successful applicant will work alongside the Curriculum Manager of Science and Physics Subject Leader to further enrich our students’ experience of Physics and have the ability to predominantly teach Physics across key stages 4 and 5, specifically to stretch and challenge our High Ability Pupils (HAPS).

Main duties and responsibilities

Working within The Sciences to contribute to raising student achievement and the continued development of the department.

Teach the science curriculum across the ability range to years 7-11

Teach Physics to higher GCSE level with a view to teaching A Level

Contribute to enrichment activities within the Sciences

Applications from NQTs and experienced staff will be equally valued.
