The Marist School seeks to appoint, from September 2019, a well-qualified and inspiring Physics Teacher to teach up to GCSE level.  The post is to cover a period of staff absence and initially it will be for one term.  The successful candidate will join an experienced and highly successful department.  Physics is a flourishing and popular subject [at our school] with a strong tradition of excellent GCSE and A-Level results. 

We have a strong, high achieving Science department and we need an exceptional, outstanding Teacher of Physics to join us and contribute their enthusiasm and specialist knowledge.

Our School is set in beautiful woodlands in the village of Sunninghill, near Ascot, and you will be working with a team of enthusiastic, passionate scientists in our well-equipped Labs, two of which have been recently refurbished, and all are equipped with smart boards, and have access to Doddle, Kerboodle and Exampro.  The successful applicant can expect high quality professional development opportunities.

You should-

• be an outstanding teacher of Physics.

• Have experience in teaching GCSE Physics 

• be willing to contribute to our extra-curricular activities.

• have excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills
