Derby College are seeking a Teacher of Plumbing & Gas We are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic 


Teacher of Plumbing to take up a teaching post working within our outstanding learning facilities at the Roundhouse site; delivering to the current and future workforce.

We are looking for the right candidate to join our growing team and help us to realise our ambitious plans across the department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading College, to pass on your specialist knowledge and to prepare our students for the next phase of their lives.  


Candidates must hold level 3 or Advanced Craft in plumbing and have 5 years post qualification experience. Previous experience of teaching would be preferred and assessor qualifications are desirable. Experience and qualifications in gas would be an advantage. 


**Teaching qualification is not required- but you must be willing to work towards**

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.   

Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
