Teacher of Primary

Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a Teacher of Primary for Innellan Primary School, by Dunoon on a full-time permanent basis.

We are looking to recruit a teacher with specialist knowledge, and/or an interest in developing knowledge and experience in working with an individual pupil with an ASD.  The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering an appropriate alternative and flexible curriculum.  The teacher will work with support assistants and the mainstream teacher to promote inclusion of the pupil within the primary school.

Any applicant, who is not currently registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), should include evidence of a pending application with this regulatory body with their application.

Subject to the policies of the school and the education authority, the duties of teachers, promoted and unpromoted, are to perform such tasks as the Head Teacher shall direct, having reasonable regard to overall teacher workload related to the main job activities.
