Warsaw

Steeped in history and boasting a huge number of green spaces, Warsaw is a vibrant European capital and international tourist destination. With regular, quick and cheap flights back to the UK as well as within Europe, Warsaw is the perfect place to re-connect with the UK if you have lived further afield or to venture into a new and exciting culture if it is your first foray into international teaching.

You will find yourself living in a significant cultural, political and economic hub with easy access to other historical cities such as Gdansk, Krakow and Wrocław as well as easy access to beautiful countryside, lakes, mountains and the seaside.

The elegant architecture, grandeur and extensive boulevards of Warsaw earned it the nickname Paris of the North and still holds true today. Wander the streets of the historical Old Town designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stroll the newly renovated banks of the Vistula and immerse yourself in the fabulous museums and music venues which abound in the city. Sample cuisine from around the world from Michelin star restaurants, quirky and trendy food markets and family friendly eateries all for quite possibly the most reasonably prices of any European capital. No wonder that the Economist Intelligence Unit ranked Warsaw as the 32nd most liveable city in the world and 8th in "Human capital and life style" whilst topping the quality of life rankings in the region.

Come and try it for yourself, our teachers love the easy living, fantastic public transport, reasonably-priced social and cultural activities and great climate (cold and dry winters, warm summers) – before you know it you may even be speaking some Polish!
