Teacher of Primary

Foula Primary School is a non-denominational school located in Foula.  It provides nursery to P7 education for children from the isle of Foula.

The structure of the school is composite primary class. There are currently four children at the school and none in the Nursery.

The school is managed by a teaching Head Teacher. The current staffing complement is 1 teacher assisted by support staff as required to meet school demands.

Whilst this is a position for 1.5 days per week it is anticipated that cover would be provided in blocks preferably for a week at a time. This is in part due to the remote setting of Foula and the transport links to and from the isle. Actual periods of time can be negotiated with the Head Teacher. Accommodation would be available for the required periods, including any times where there are delays caused by transport.
