London Academy is an oversubscribed 4-19 mixed comprehensive in North London serving 1500 students. In 2015 the academy was in the top 10% of schools nationally for progress made by pupils at KS4.
The Academy has a bespoke pedagogy underpinned by a belief that all students can achieve through effort, deliberate practice, and engagement in a meaningful and purposeful curriculum. You join a committed and vibrant body of staff passionate about the achievement of students.
This post is pivotal to the Academy’s continuing drive to raise attainment for all our children. You will be part of a team driving forward improvements in Teaching and Learning within the Psychology department. You will be teaching in an experienced department, delivering a curriculum which includes GCSE, AS and A2 Psychology. This post is either offered as a full time position or application for part time (0.6/3 days per week) would be welcome.
