This position could be combined with our part time Teacher of Criminology role advertised in order to make a full time role for an interested candidate.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our School of Humanities and Social Sciences, teaching A Level Psychology.  The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area and the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range.  With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community.  If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.

New College Doncaster opened in September 2017. The college is growing significantly, with 950 on roll in September 2018 and plans to increase to 1200 by 2020.  This is an exciting new venture, creating a sister college to the well-established New College Pontefract, rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, replicating its ethos, values and practices.  New College Doncaster, New College Pontefract and New College Bradford (opening September 2019) work very closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression. 

Working in a new campus, you will join a focused and driven team, committed to providing the highest standards of education for young people, in a challenging but supportive learning environment. New College Doncaster primarily delivers A Levels, alongside a number of Level 3 BTEC qualifications.
