
Teacher of Psychology

We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational, highly motivated Teacher of Psychology to join us in September 2021. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have the desire to be part of a successful teaching team and a willingness to contribute to new initiatives within the department. The department is committed to building upon student starting points and maximising their outcomes. Your teaching will be of the highest quality and the results will reflect the high calibre of your teaching.
You will be based in the Department of Psychology, Criminology & Geography; Psychology follow the AQA specification. You will join a team of 19 full-time and part-time staff. The focus of the team is very much on collaborative working, and on supporting one another to achieve the best results. The ability and willingness to offer some criminology teaching would also be considered.
We would advise you that posts advertised to start in September 2021 actually commence with student enrolment on 31 August 2021. Teaching staff are required to work this day but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.
Please note that this role is likely to include online/remote teaching and learning.
