We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic graduate teacher of Psychology from January 2020 to join a highly-successful department in a selective school that has been rated by Ofsted as outstanding for over a decade. This is an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment which encourages professional development. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs.
Psychology is a popular subject: four GCSE groups across KS4 and five teaching groups across KS5 within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. If you teach A level Psychology you will soon be at home teaching the IB. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire students of Psychology at all levels; we are looking for a well-motivated teacher, who is passionate about teaching Psychology, to work alongside the Head of Department.
Bexley Grammar School is a heavily oversubscribed, high-achieving, coeducational selective school with a fully IB Sixth Form. With a full complement of subject specialist teachers, a rich curriculum and a wealth of extra-curricular activities, we provide an exciting and enriching educational experience for all and many opportunities for career progression in both the academic and pastoral life of the school.
For more information about our school and a sense of its ethos, please explore our website where you will also find an application form under ‘Vacancies’. (www.bexleygs.co.uk).
Closing date for applications is noon on Wed 20th November with a view to interview the following week.
