Our purpose-built school boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a covered sports field, a 25-metre pool, two gymnasiums, and a climbing wall. The Science Department has state-of-art science labs and we are proud of our 500-seat theatre and specialist music, drama and art rooms. All year groups have extensive play facilities and outdoor spaces. About the role:

Are you able to demonstrate clear enthusiasm and passion for teaching and developing? Do you have high levels of professionalism in all that you do? Are you a pro-active team player - positive, flexible and calm under pressure when working in a busy school environment? Do you ensure that the needs of the children are always your priority? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you. 

We are looking for an outstanding Psychology teacher (A Level) to join our team. You will be passionate about your subject with the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities. We welcome those with creative, innovative, and enriching ideas which will motivate and inspire our young learners. You will have a proven track record of teaching at post 16 level - ideally A Level and be passionate in ensuring success in their subject for all your students. 

The ability to teach another subject up to KS3 or 4 would also be required, preferably Business, Maths or Science although all will be considered.

As well as your teaching, you will also be expected to contribute positively to both the school’s pastoral systems and the extra-curricular programme, offering an Extra-Curricular Activity that either supports or extends the students’ learning in their subject area, or from another area of personal interest.​​​​​​​

About you:

As a qualified teacher, you will be a fluent English speaker and have experience of delivering the British curriculum. You will hold high expectations of both yourself and others and be committed to developing personalised, innovative and creative approaches to learning. You will be an excellent communicator, who works in partnership with colleagues, students and parents to create a learning environment that delivers educational excellence. You will be keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum and will be an effective professional with outstanding subject knowledge and at least two years’ teaching experience.

Global academic results

The 2021-2022 school year was one of the strongest ever in terms of Nord Anglia Education’s academic results. For the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, our students achieved a 35.1 global point average, far exceeding the global average of 31.9. A third of students eared a perfect score of 45. In the A-levels, our students achieved 60.5% of grades at A*-A, along with 77.3% at A*-B.The group’s latest IGCSE student cohort, consisting of 2,351 students across 41 Nord Anglia schools, achieving an outstanding set of results, with 52.8% of grades at 9 – 7 for the year and 90.8% at 9-4.
