Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring teacher, who is qualified to teach Psychology, Sociology and Health and Social Care.  The post is temporary as it is covering maternity leave.   The successful candidate will be required to have strong subject knowledge and to be able to teach and assess AQA ‘A’ level Sociology and Psychology and BTEC Tech Award and the BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care (at levels 2 and 3).  You will be joining an outstanding, highly supportive department, who achieve excellent results by consistently providing a stimulating learning environment, challenging all pupils to achieve their potential. 

Maricourt is committed to the safeguarding of its students.  Enhanced due to the nature of the work, the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate must be able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure (via the Disclosure and Barring Service) in order to be appointed to the post.
