The City of Stoke on Trent Sixth Form College is a thriving, lively and successful Sixth Form College, committed to social inclusion. The College is located in an award-winning, state of the art building at the heart of the University Quarter of Stoke on Trent, adjacent to Stoke Railway Station, providing excellent travel links. In September 2017, the College achieved academy status as part of the Potteries Educational Trust. The Trust is working collaboratively with educational institutions from across Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and beyond, seeking to improve outcomes for all children and young people in the region. Teacher of Psychology
(Part Time, Temporary Maternity Cover)
Salary will be paid according to the National Sixth Form College’s Salary Spine for Teachers ,(£25,570 – £41,732 per annum)
The college is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to teach on Psychology courses. The subject offers courses at A Level, BTEC and a Degree foundation year in partnership with Staffordshire University. The subject has a track record of innovative teaching and learning, good results, and excellent support for students with large numbers progressing on to positive destinations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a positive and dedicated team.
