Teacher of Psychology

Godalming CollegeSurrey

Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in December 2019, Godalming College in Surrey is one of the best sixth form colleges in the country. With outstanding teaching and learning at the heart of our student experience, we consistently achieve impressive results. Our campus provides attractive and stimulating spaces in which to work and study reflecting our lively, vibrant ethos.

The College is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative A Level Psychology Teacher on a full time basis from the start of the academic year 2021/22. Applicants will need to be enthusiastic and committed teachers who are aware of and sympathetic to the needs of 16-19-year olds. The ability to teach on the BTEC Health and Social Care course would be desirable but not essential. Applicants from new entrants to the profession would be encouraged.

We offer a positive and welcoming working environment. Our recent Ofsted inspection noted:

‘Leaders support staff very well. They take the well-being and workload of their staff into account when determining new processes and policies. Staff benefit from extensive investment in professional development opportunities, which helps them develop both their subject and classroom skills. Staff are highly positive about working at the College.’

Salary is according to the Sixth Form College Teachers’ pay spine, currently up to £42,813 per year including fringe allowance.
