Following the promotion of staff and the continuing expansion of this hugely successful, popular and over-subscribed special school we have the vacancies for teachers of pupils with Autism across all key stages. Closing date Monday 23rd April 11.00 a.m.
Abbey Hill School & Performing Arts College is an over-subscribed, purpose built local authority special school for children aged 3-19 years with learning difficulties, communication and interaction difficulties and / or Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
We are looking to appoint a people with excellent classroom management and curriculum expertise who will embrace fully the whole-school ethos, values and approaches to learning. Ideally you will have experience of working with children with ASD.
We follow the National Curriculum, which is modified and broken down into smaller steps as needed. We pride ourselves on meeting individual needs. All our young people learn at their own pace and according to their own individual requirements.
