Job overview
2nd in Department & Teacher of RE Vacancy
Salary – MPS / UPS with additional TLR 2B
St Anne’s RC Voluntary Academy has recently joined the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust, so this is an exciting time for the school. Importantly, this is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified RE Teacher , who can teach RE to KS4. Additionally, for St Anne’s we achieved a ‘good’ Ofsted judgment [June 2023] for the first time in our history. This is the direct result of a strong, relentless, and positive leadership committed to serving this community.
A Subject Leader is in place who is driven by ensuring that the students at St Annes receive first class RE and gain a strong qualification at the end of their time at St. Anne’s. You will support the Subject Leader in raising standards of student attainment and achievement within the RE curriculum area. This year St Annes RE results are in line with national, and above in the diocese.
We are a fully comprehensive school, and the successful candidate will be able to engage, inspire and challenge students across the full range of ability. The candidate must be driven by ensuring that students receive an outstanding education which is reflected in outstanding pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will gain a wealth of experience, including working alongside a successful RE department.
