Teacher of RE

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and engaging RE Teacher.
The RE department is a strong area of the school both in terms of uptake at GCSE and progression onto the IBCP in the sixth form. At Key Stage 4, students study the OCR full course GCSE as an option subject. This is very popular and levels of progress as well as outcomes are strong. RE has enabled students to progress onto university to study a range of subjects. Most recently, students are utilising their skills on courses such as Criminology; Cybercrime; English Literature; and Event Management. The department is also involved with Amnesty International to add a further dimension to the work of the department. Our students benefit from this extra dimension and have formed strong community links both locally and internationally.
Our modern facilities provide an environment where students experience the very best of twenty first century learning and the school’s virtual learning website enables our students to continue their learning at home.
It is the desire for continual development that drives The Beaconsfield School on our journey. You will be joining a highly skilled staff, who are supportive, show determination and resolve.
