The RE Department require a highly motivated, inspiring and committed teacher of RE. The successful applicant will join a dynamic, friendly and supportive part of the school community, consistently achieving good results through hard work and enthusiasm. You should able to deliver high quality teaching and learning and have a clear focus on the achievement of young people. This post will be to cover the long-term absence of a colleague until February half term in the first instance but with the possibility of further extension.
The post would be an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher, or an NQT with the capacity to rise to the challenge of teaching A Level. NQTs at Knights Templar will receive full support in their induction year and will benefit from our outstanding coaching and mentoring programme.
In October 2012 Ofsted graded the school as “good” with Behaviour and Safety of Pupils being judged as “outstanding”. They commented that “students have exemplary personal and social skills” and that they have “an excellent attitude to learning”.
