About the Role:

Edgar Wood Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Religious Education to join our thriving Humanities Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to contribute to the development of our inclusive and ambitious curriculum.

37 hours per week, term-time only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire curiosity, debate, and critical thinking among students.
  • Support students in developing respect and understanding of different faiths and worldviews.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider life of the school.
  • Provide regular updates on student progress through reports and parent meetings.
