Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious teacher to teach RE at St Andrew’s.  The RE department is very strong with a team of excellent teachers.  Students at St Andrew’s really enjoy their RE lessons and the results at GCSE are strong. Philosophy and Ethics is a popular
A Level with outstanding results both at AS and at A Level.  Our Sixth Form all take part in our spiritual development lessons and the RE department play a key role in supporting the Chaplain with Retreat Days and Liturgies which are a key and important part of the students’ experience at St Andrew’s.  This is a great opportunity to join a very strong and dynamic department which has excellent staff.  The position would suit an NQT where they would be offered excellent support at the start of their teaching career or it would suit a more experienced teacher looking to join a great department with the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate who is looking to take on responsibility.
