We are a boy's school with co-educational Sixth Form. There are currently 932 pupils on roll; approximately 100 of these are boarders. The Sixth Form has about 340 students of whom just over 100 are girls.
We require a well qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach Religious Studies at KS3 and A Level and Philosophy at AS Level, in a highly professional, energetic and successful department. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, from September 2020.
Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply, as are teachers with greater experience.

Haberdashers' Adams (formerly Adams' Grammar School) is a co-ed selective state grammar school in the market town of Newport, Shropshire, founded in 1656.The School welcomes boys aged 11-18 as day boys or boarders, and girls aged 16-18 as day girls in our Sixth Form.
Entrance to the School is highly competitive. The most common points of entry are via an 11+ examination or following GCSE exam results. Former pupils of the school are known as Old Novaportans.
