At Trinity Academy, we place emphasis on academic excellence, where all students and staff have the opportunity to work hard to achieve their personal best. Our mission is to encourage personal, moral and spiritual development within a Christian framework. We are a vibrant community, housed in a modern facility with good motorway links which puts us in easy reach of Leeds, Sheffield and Hull.
We require for January 2018 a passionate and highly motivated graduate, qualified to teach Religious Studies at all levels. The ability to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, a commitment to the Academy’s vision and Christian ethos and to consistently teach inspirational lessons within this successful department is essential.
To be successful, you will have drive and determination and be able to engage and motivate students. There is a genuine occupational requirement (GOR) that the post-holder should be a committed Christian.
The welfare of our staff is important to us. We are firmly committed to CPD and offer a comprehensive programme with superb promotion prospects and career development. We subscribe to the Workplace Options scheme, the childcare voucher scheme (Sodexo) and all staff are given a daily meal allowance.
Visits from prospective candidates are warmly welcomed.
