This is an outstanding opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher to join our highly successful Humanities Department. QTS status is essential. An ability to teach across the full age and ability range up to A Level is desirable.
Kingdown School is ranked in the top 10 secondary schools in Wiltshire situated in Warminster in the heart of beautiful rural Wiltshire with excellent links to Salisbury, Bath, Bristol and the South-West. The Religious Studies department is very successful with good GCSE and A level numbers, and, very good exam results. The department has dedicated classrooms each with a computer and digital projector, and an office space. We have developed our own detailed schemes of work across all key stages, and utilise a range of resources including textbooks, reference books and electronic materials.
PSHE is taught as a discreet subject in year 7-10 and is fully resourced. The PSHE team is led by an Assistant Head and PSHE is well regarded within the school.
