Teacher of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics (RPE) ; 0.6 FTE

We are looking for a RE specialist to come and join our dynamic, friendly and successful team.  This is an ideal opportunity to develop in an engaging and innovative environment that will help you develop as a teacher.

Religion, Philosophy and Ethics is taught throughout the 11 - 18 age range at all levels of ability and achieves results above the national average.

It is a compulsory GCSE subject for Years 9 and 10. At the end of Year 10 all students sit the full course AQA Religious Studies GCSE. Students take the GCSE seriously as they understand the skills that it enables them to develop.

The department is also highly popular and successful in the 6th Form with strong academic results along fantastic enrichment opportunities.

Hinchingbrooke is a remarkable state school set in acres of beautiful grounds and adjoining a country park. Hinchingbrooke House was formerly the family home of the Cromwell’s and of the Earls of Sandwich. The school finds inspiration from its heritage and gives both staff and students a very special pride and a sense of identity.

Hinchingbrooke is an 11-18 comprehensive school with over 2000 students on roll including 340 students in the Sixth form. The Academy has a strong ethos and is a vibrant community.
