Hall Mead School is seeking a highly competent teacher to join its Learning Support Department. We are looking for someone to join the team and the ability to offer English/Literacy, Design and Technology including Food or Science would be helpful.

This is an excellent position for someone wishing to develop a leadership career in S.E.N.D as we will offer the opportunity to be funded and supported in order to undertake the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination. The Department intends to create a team of Sendco responsible for particular areas.

The Learning Support Department at Hall Mead is a very large department with nearly 70 EHC Plans. It has a suite of rooms in the "Personal Learning Centre", accommodating an Additionally Resourced Provision for Autistic Students, Nurture Groups for vulnerable students and bespoke GCSE provision. It also has a Life Skills Flat and a garden. It is a challenging, creative and rewarding environment where students are treated as individuals and are supported to flourish.
