The Boulevard Academy opened in 2013 and has enjoyed a highly successful first five years of operation. Having been judged as outstanding by Ofsted in 2015, we are now extremely excited to see our first cohort of Year 11’s through their GCSEs this summer. At The Boulevard Academy we work with our students to ensure they develop the high expectations, academic and life skills that will best help them to be successful. Our achievements have been recognised regionally, nationally and internationally.
The Boulevard Academy is a forward thinking, collaborative and developmental environment and we pride ourselves on bringing out the best in both our students and staff. We are now seeking to appoint a motivated and dynamic Teacher of Science and 2nd in Department, to join the academy in September 2018. We are looking for a teacher who is:
- A passionate advocate of science
- Able to plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- A team player with excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Wholly committed to providing the very best educational opportunities for all our students regardless of background.

About The Boulevard Academy
Located on the site of the former Hull FC Stadium on The Boulevard in West Hull we moved into our brand new, purpose-built Academy in September 2013. Following our approval to expand we will ultimately cater for 900 students aged between 11 and 16. The academy serves students from across the city and we are proud to serve the community of West Hull.

Joining us
By joining us at The Boulevard Academy you will be joining us as we have just received approval to expand our school and its buildings. The plans for this expansion include new music and drama facilities; technology rooms for practical and digital studies as well as more general teaching classrooms; a new staff area and a Learning Resource area. Our vision can only be realised by recruiting exceptional colleagues, who can make a purposeful and lasting impact on the community we serve.
