We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our supportive, forward thinking and successful team, working in the heart of the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. 

We require a talented teacher who is a confident and reflective classroom practitioner, displaying enthusiasm, passion and dedication towards the subject and its teaching.

Ribblesdale High School is a co-educational secondary school based in Lancashire, for students aged 11-16. It is a non-denominational school founded in 1932.

The school is situated in the market town of Clitheroe, at the heart of the Ribble Valley.

“Teaching is good. Teachers’ questioning is used well to push students to think hard and express themselves fully. This enhances their oral and communication skills. Students’ behaviour is good. They conduct themselves well in lessons and as they move around the school. Students’ attitudes to learning are positive. They work hard and follow instructions well. They enjoy their learning because activities capture their interest. Students’ attendance is above average and they are always punctual to school and lessons. They arrive to lessons well prepared for learning.”
