Hopewell School is an Independent Day Special school for young people with SEMH as well as complex needs. We operate from two sites –Hopewell School based in Dagenham and motorvations@hopewell our newly opened vocational site in Romford which offer a range of vocational courses and experiences for our pupils.

Over the last two years the school has been through rapid changes and developments with a new Head teacher and Senior Leadership Team focusing on providing the very best possible educational opportunities for all our pupils within a nurturing and supportive setting. 

We are currently looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to join our school from September 2019. Someone who can take the National curriculum and examination courses and bring them alive in a way that both engages and motivates our pupils. 

You will have:

• Experience working with young people with SEMH & complex needs

• The ability to develop positive relationships, key to working in this type of setting

• Enthusiasm for planning & delivering exciting & imaginative lessons

• A desire to provide Hopewell pupils with the very best outcomes, educationally & developmentally

This is an exciting opportunity to join our school on the next phase of its journey and play a key role in the development and learning of our students. You will become part of a team that will specialise in delivering a curriculum designed to meet individual needs and give our pupils the best possible educational outcomes. 

At Hopewell we aim to provide our pupils with a unique, bespoke creative curriculum supported within a holistic framework of therapeutic intervention, and we are looking for the next member of our teaching team to enhance their learning experience.
