Rodborough School is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Science to join our team.
Teachers of any specialism may apply (Biology is preferential) and the post is also suitable for teachers new to teaching.
Science is very popular at Rodborough. The sciences are taught discreetly in specialist labs with nearly half of students taking a separate science route at GCSE. Uptake on post-16 science courses by Rodborough students is high. The Science Department is active in organising a broad range of curriculum and extra-curricular activities, all of which are an important part of the student experience at Rodborough.
The successful candidate will have a passion to teach science, but will also recognise that working as a tutor and supporting the extra-curricular provision is essential when it comes to ensuring our students have the best possible experience during their time with us.
