Teacher of Science
Carlton Bolling is an Outstanding school which has been on a rapid improvement journey over recent years, gaining an Ofsted “outstanding “rating (2017) with results within the top 5% nationally less than two years after coming out of “special measures”. This progress was recognised by Ofsted who praised the “Highly aspirational vision for the school”.
We achieved the World Class School Quality Mark in 2018 and in 2019 we were voted Pearson Secondary School of the Year: Making a difference. These awards confirm our continuing commitment to move the school forward to the very highest levels with focussed new initiatives and innovations. We are the founding school of the Carlton Academy Trust.
Staff enjoy working at Carlton Bolling and are supported and encouraged to lead and develop practice “Pupils and staff are enthused and excited to excel. Pupils and staff work together within a harmonious community, where they are fully supported”: Ofsted, November 2017.
Although we are rated Outstanding, we are still moving forward at the same trajectory on our path to become one of the top 1% of schools in the country. If you share this vision, and are prepared to put in the effort to attain this goal, we would like to hear from you.
We believe that Learning and Teaching is all about collaboration and teamwork, that teachers and students improve when working together to support each other.
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, innovative, and highly skilled Science Teacher who will motivate and excite young people, raise expectations, and turn students with promise into skilful learners. We are looking for a candidate who has the potential to inspire, support and motivate colleagues in raising attainment, and above all, is willing to learn and work as part of team.
