Teacher of Science (Chemistry) Full-Time, 1 year fixed-term, with the option to become permanent

St Claudine’s Catholic School for Girls is a highly-successful Catholic girls’ comprehensive school (ages 11-19), where behaviour is outstanding and students are educated via a rich and diverse, holistic curriculum to become confident, articulate and independent young women.

We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking and conscientious Science Teacher with a Chemistry specialism, an ability to teach across the Science Curriculum, and to be able to teach Chemistry to A level are essential for this role. We are looking for someone to work with us on a fulltime, fixed-term basis, with the option to become permanent after one year. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, energy, enthusiasm and pride in a meticulous approach to work. Science is a very popular subject with Chemistry and Biology taught to A Level. Several of our 6th form students move on to study medicine and other roles within the medical profession.
