Thank you for your interest in The Dukeries Academy.  Our vision is to inspire excellence and maximise opportunities for all. We are an inclusive, high-performing academy, at the heart of the Ollerton community. I believe that every child living in Ollerton, and our surrounding villages belongs here, at their exceptional local school.

We know that we are a Good school (Ofsted 2016, 2021), but we are on a journey to be so much more. Our Good to Great strategy, leading us to 2025, will deliver our strategic aims in becoming a truly Great school that our community can be proud of, our families trust and that our pupils are both excited and proud to attend.

Academics matter at The Dukeries Academy. We focus hard on high levels of progress and attainment at GSCE and A Level. We do this because we know that by achieving great qualifications, new opportunities are unlocked for every child. Along with Academics, we deliver a carefully planned Personal Development and Character curriculum. All pupils have access to dedicated activities and rites of passage that help them to grow in confidence and become rounded young people who are ready to make a positive impact in their local community and in the world.

The Principal has fulfilled several roles within The Dukeries Academy and in our Trust since 2016, he is fully committed to the local community and proud to serve it.  Everyone who works at The Dukeries Academy is fully committed to the education, pastoral needs and well-being of our students.  We are on a mission to deliver an exceptional, standout education and are driven by our moral purpose to transform lives.

We have exceedingly high expectations of our community in terms of attendance, punctuality, uniform and behaviour. We do have rules here, and our high expectations of behaviour and conduct mean that our children are safe, happy and cared for during their time with us.

We look forward to meeting and working with you to ensure that The Dukeries Academy becomes the Great school our community deserves and one that we can all be truly proud of.
