The English School of Science and IT in Moscow, RF is seeking to appoint a full time TEACHER of SCIENCE (Chemistry) to start August 2017.

Students are educated to the English National curriculum and the successful candidate will be teaching IGCSE and A-Level classes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree (Master in education is a plus)
  • Teaching qualification from English speaking country (Bed, Med, PGCE, Teaching license)
  • Please note that TEFL, TESOL, CELTA are not teaching qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 year of full-time teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with English National Curriculum is essential, experience with STEM curriculum is a plus.
  • Excellent references.

Salary Package

  • 35,000-40,000.- USD per annum AFTER TAX

The English School of Science and IT is an international secondary school which is located in Moscow Lefortovo district, 15 minutes from Moscow city center and within a walkable distance to a shopping mall, sports facilities including a number of swimming pools, a large beautiful park with ponds and skating rinks, cross-country skiing in winter, close to historical places of interest, etc.

The Development Director of the school is Mr. Ross D. Hunter, UK, the Academic Director is Mr. Samuel Finlayson, UK.

The school offers a truly international education for pupils of all ages, from Reception to the International General Certificate in Education and A Levels. The class sizes are small and allow for the curriculum to be differentiated to meet the individual needs of the students. English is the common language for learning although for most of the children it is their second, or even their third or fourth language.
