Teacher of Science (Chemistry specialist)

We are seeking to appoint either an already outstanding teacher or someone with the potential to become an outstanding teacher who can deliver high-quality learning opportunities for our students in Science. We are looking for talented and passionate Teacher of Science (Chemistry specialist), who truly wishes to inspire our pupils. The Science department is highly successful and has a track record of delivering excellent outcomes for our pupils. It is housed in a suite of 13 recently refurbished and superbly equipped laboratories.

You will be working in a stable department with a dedicated team of experienced technicians, who handle both practical resourcing and reprographics on your behalf. Furthermore you will be based in your own custom-built laboratory designed to facilitate practical Chemistry, with no need to relocate from lesson to lesson. The position is also ideally suited to a recently qualified teacher or ECT, as all current members of the department are experienced mentors. A-level Chemistry teaching will be available as soon as you are ready to take on the responsibility.

This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity with a February 2023 start date (dependent on the successful candidates availability). Please note, this will be a fixed-term position for the duration of the exam period and is due to finish in May 2023.​​​​​​​
