An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Science to join The Hammond's vibrant community. The Hammond is one of the UK's most prestigious performing arts schools.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and inspirational teacher of science who is able to engage students in a love of learning. The post would suit an ambitious teacher who is looking to develop their leadership skills, or teacher looking to develop their classroom experience. The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering a stimulating, inclusive and engaging curriculum for Science at the Hammond. The role is inclusive of teaching KS3 and KS4. There may also opportunities to teach small cohorts at KS5 when required. This is an exciting opportunity to join our small and successful science department working in an environment where students love to learn, and where academic excellence is a priority.
The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher. In particular the post holder’s key responsibilities will be for improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
