St Helena School is a highly regarded 11-16 co-educational Academy, again awarded Good by Ofsted in December 2017. The school has ambitious goals for high standards, and requires like-minded colleagues to join our team. Located on 17 acres, in a quiet part of historic Colchester, the school has a fine blend of traditional and modern facilities, boasting a £2.5 million new Science and Technology block that opened in September 2015.

We are seeking to appoint a talented, creative and dynamic Teacher of Science to join our Science Faculty from September 2018. The successful applicant will be a very strong classroom practitioner with a real enthusiasm for Science. Able to confidently deliver all disciplines to GCSE level, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with the Faculty in a brand new Science facility. Our Science Faculty have developed a very successful clubs programme, which the successful applicant would be welcome to engage in.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious professional to develop their practice within a highly supportive Faculty structure, with access to an exceptional CPD training programme.
