St Michael’s Church of England High School is a successful 11-18 secondary school with a clear vision to be an outstanding school for our community with high aspirations for all of our students both academically and socially no matter what their starting point. The school has a well deserved reputation for academic success and strong pastoral care for all students. The school is smaller than the average secondary school but as a result of an ever-improving reputation is continuing to grow in size and has been oversubscribed for the last 5 years. 

St Michael’s Church of England High School is a caring Christian community and the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to support this ethos.

For September 2022, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teacher of Science.  The successful candidate will be joining a successful and thriving department and a dedicated team of colleagues, who share a vision of excellent teaching and learning.

The person appointed will have a proven track record of excellent classroom management, a passion for education  and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to enhancing student learning. You will be confident in your ability to teach across all keys stages and ability range. 

The post is open to newly qualified and experienced teachers.

St Michael's Church of England High School is a mixed, non-selective, Church of England secondary school with sixth form in Liverpool, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Crosby has approximately 690 students on roll.
