About the role: Wilmington Academy is seeking to appoint a talented and inspiring Teacher of Science, starting from September 2022. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to academic excellence and have the ability to motivate, support and enthuse students. You will join an established, successful department with a forward-thinking, dedicated team who achieve excellent results – your input is key to ensuring this trend continues. Knowledge of the AQA specification would be desirable. 

We are an IB World School delivering IB Biology and Chemistry, A Level Applied and Medical Sciences; training will be provided to upskill our successful candidate where necessary. The science team is supported by 3 technicians and offers a number of co-curricular activities. We also offer state of the art science labs!
