This post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher. 

The Ongar Academy has, a genuine commitment to the welfare and development of staff and high expectations of student behaviour.  The school was inspected in 2018 and was described as being good overall with many outstanding features.  

We are looking for a high quality science specialist, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our high performing science department.  You will be required to teach science up to and including G.C.S.E. 

Science is a highly valued subject in the curriculum.   All science teachers have their own classrooms which are adjacent to each other in the science floor and are fitted with projector, interactive whiteboard and internet access.  The successful candidate will be joining a very supportive team. 

The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.  NQTS teach a reduced timetable and participate in a thorough induction programme which is led by an Assistant Headteacher.
