Job overview

Teacher of Science

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Start Date: September 2023

MPS/UPS

A once in a career opportunity to work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a founding role at the first ‘all through’ school in Essex.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort was welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. We were pleased that we are oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school again this year. The school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are looking to appoint a Science teacher to join our small but outstanding team. This position is key to continue the exceptional Science provision our new school has so far enjoyed. You will contribute to the very strong culture, identity and ethos here that has been nurtured here.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, perhaps new to the profession, or an experienced colleague looking for a new challenge. They will believe in the potential of all children, whatever their background or ability. They will be reflective, excited by taking risks and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. They will promote lifelong learning through their constant drive to improve their own practice, as well as supporting those they lead and work alongside to develop their skills.

At Beaulieu, our expectations of behaviour, attitude to learning and manners here are extremely high. We can promise the successful candidate an environment in which they will be free to teach and develop as a practitioner.

Specific responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description.

The closing date is Monday 17th April  2023. Interviews will be held w/c 24th April 2023.
