Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a forward-looking 11–19 school. The Sweyne Park School is the lead school within the Rayleigh Schools Trust and works with a local primary school, providing a 3–19 educational experience for the local community. The successful applicant will have excellent subject knowledge, the ability to inspire students, and a desire to develop as a teacher. 

 

Teachers in the Science department work as a strong team, sharing resources and developing excellent practice together. This role offers the opportunity to work with enthusiastic, supportive and committed colleagues. 

 

The Sweyne Park School:

 

·     opened a Sixth Form in September 2014;

The Sweyne Park School is a thriving academy school in Rayleigh, Essex for pupils from 11 years to 19 years.

Building character is at the heart of our school’s ethos along with respect and personal success.  These have been the foundations of our approach to providing education throughout the school’s evolution.
