We have a unique opportunity to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Science to teach Biology and Chemistry at Key Stages 3 and 4 with the ability to teach either Biology or Chemistry to Key Stage 5.

About Colchester County High School for Girls

Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust.  It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding".  Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students to the Sixth Form.  The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site.  Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
