Thorp Academy– a Northern Education Trust Academy is seeking to appoint a dynamic Science Teacher. This will be a permanent position commencing 2nd September 2019.
The successful candidate must be an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire pupils and encourage a passion for learning. Thorp is a mixed, 11-18 academy.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Build positive relationships with all children, staff and parents.
Demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies and high expectations.
Show good classroom practice and be committed to developing children as independent learners and thinkers.
Promote learning based on using good subject knowledge.
Contribute to the drive for high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour across the Academy.
