Job overview

We are looking for an inspiring, engaging and talented teacher who has the relevant skills to teach Science across the school to all key stages including A-level (KS3 to KS5). The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences within and beyond the classroom, and keen to contribute to wider aspects of School life. 

Candidates are sought who can demonstrate a successful track and particular aptitude for: 

●Subject knowledge

●Communication and relationship-building;  

●Teamwork and attention to detail. 

●Chemistry specialism is desirable but any specialism will be considered

Founded in 1928, Westonbirt School is a secondary school with a sixth form for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. There are currently around 500 pupils enrolled at the school. It is situated on 210 acres of land in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The school has a thriving boarding community. Pupil numbers have grown rapidly since the transition to full co-education in September 2019. A whole site development masterplan is in place which has seen significant investment in new teaching spaces, boarding accommodation, sports facilities and infrastructure.
