We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science to join our excellent team of staff at the Academy.  This post would suit either an NQT or experienced teacher.  There may be an opportunity for some Sixth Form teaching for the suitable candidate.

The Priory Ruskin Academy is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The school has a sixth form and educates students within the 11-19 age range. It offers a wide range of GCSE and OCR National programmes, as well as a variety of A-Level and BTEC subjects.

The Priory Ruskin Academy was established in 2010 out of a merger between Central Technology and Sports College and Grantham Church High School. It is part of the Priory Federation of Academies Trust.

The Priory Ruskin Academy has a clear goal to improve the life chances of students. It wants all pupils to appreciate the excitement of learning, as well as the rewards of personal challenge and the importance of helping others. Teachers strive to help students become true citizens of the world.

Students are proud of the academy. They are respectful to each other and their teachers. The behaviour of students is good and attitudes to learning are positive. The academy provides a rich programme of extra activities. This helps students to develop good social skills, and moral, spiritual and cultural understanding.”
