We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Science to join this successful department and teach up to and including A Level.
This is an excellent opportunity for both NQTs as well as more experienced teachers. A key stage responsibility may be available for the right candidate with a TLR attached. NQTs will be actively supported with an established and extensive NQT programme and the successful candidate will have access to many professional development opportunities. We are as committed to your development as we will expect you to be to the progress of your students.
The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and be a reflective practitioner who embraces emerging technologies and has passionate enthusiasm for teaching and Science. The successful candidate will be required to teach across ability and age ranges, delivering all Science disciplines at KS3/4 and specialist knowledge at KS5.
The Science department achieved 100% A*-C at GCSE for students undertaking triple science in 2017. All students undertake double science at GCSE and over one third of the year undertake triple science. In addition, we have a growing number of students studying Science at A level and therefore specialists in Biology, Chemistry and Physics are all encouraged to apply.
