The Science Department at Twyford School is a thriving, supportive team. Science lessons are located in a dedicated science block consisting of three well-equipped laboratories and the department is supported by a full time Technician. Class teachers work together with specialist teachers to ensure pupils throughout the School receive the very best teaching, shaped by research and collaboration. We have high expectations of our pupils and our staff and we believe our School offers an environment which is supportive and nurturing, whilst still retaining a sense of fun and love of learning.

Twyford School prepares pupils for Common Entrance at 13+, as well as academic scholarships to some of the country's most prestigious senior schools. Our tailored scholarship preparation program focuses on developing key scientific skills and knowledge, ensuring our pupils are well-equipped to excel in their scholarship assessments.
