Tes are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science on a full-time permanent basis from September 2021. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.

The post holder will be expected to:
- Be committed to teaching students with a range of ability using a variety of learning styles;
- Have an unwavering commitment to enabling students to develop their potential;
- Play a full and active role in the continual development of high quality Teaching and Learning in their department and across the school;
- Commit to the school SEARCH ethos;
- Have the ability and willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
The successful candidate:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent;
- Qualified teacher status;
- Demonstrable experience of improving student outcomes;
- Understanding of innovative approaches to teaching and learning;
- Understanding of the National Curriculum and OFSTED Framework;
- Demonstrable experience of high quality teaching and learning;
- Positive effective strategies for behaviour management;
- Experience of optimising the attainment and progress of students.
