Edwinstree Church of England Middle School is a mixed, Church of England middle school for pupils aged 9-13. It is a voluntary controlled school located in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, and has about 450 pupils.

Edwinstree Church of England Middle School aims to give its students the best learning experience, and aspires to provide them with life-changing opportunities both for now, and that will benefit their future.

The school describes itself as a family, and aims to cultivate an environment in which pupils and the school community care and support each other no matter what. The school recognises that all people are unique, and accepts everybody, regardless of their culture and religion.

The school aims to inspire its enthusiastic and happy pupils within a friendly atmosphere and says it is proud to aim high. The governors and members of staff recognise that the school’s aims can best be achieved through a close partnership between home and school.

In 2005, the Buntingford, Royston and Villages Ecumenical (BRAVE) Trust, which aims to help students to: think honestly for themselves about their values and beliefs, and “create an environment where no question is forbidden”.
