We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working teacher to join our Science Department. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Science across all key stages. There may be the possibility to teach BTEC and A’ Level. The successful candidate will teach in a well-resourced environment equipped with the latest technology.
Interested candidates will have:
• QTS
• the ability to teach Science to KS4
• the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
• the ability to motivate and achieve excellent results
• excellent organisational skills
• the ability to form positive working relationships with staff and pupils
• the ability to work collaboratively
University Academy Holbeach is an oversubscribed school in a rural location and serves the community of Holbeach and the surrounding villages.
Teachers and learners enjoy state of the art facilities, including purpose-built teaching walls. All students and staff enjoy the use of Ipads to enhance the curriculum.
Teachers wishing to embark upon further post graduate study as part of their CPD will be supported through our sponsor the University of Lincoln

University Academy Holbeach is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school for students aged 11-16. It is situated in Spalding, Lincolnshire. There are 1,300 pupils at the school and it was rated “good” in its most recent Ofsted inspection.
University Academy Holbeach was established in 2011, after the closure of St Guthlac's School in Crowland and George Farmer Technology and Language College in Holbeach.

University Academy Holbeach’s aim is to provide a broad general education and to produce well-behaved, well-balanced, resilient individuals who work hard and respect themselves and those around them.
The secondary school works to achieve these aims through an ethos of hard work, providing structures that enable pupils to achieve and feel safe. Teachers encourage pupils to share one another’s successes. The curriculum is enriched through partnerships with the University of Lincoln and local businesses.
